I was born and brought up in Calcutta, India. The city bursts with warmth, enthusiasm and cultural activity. I have moved on with academics and work, and have lived in Madras, Hyderabad, Philadelphia and Edison, New Jersey.

I work in the area of computer and communication engineering at LSI Corporation.

I have wide ranging interests. We love nature, the busy city streets, music, arts and culture, science, to name a few. I also travel a lot to the National Parks and to other cities.
