Seven of our friends with thier families gathered in the hilly setting of the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. It was Friday, August 8th. Our friends came from 5 states in the Mid-Atlantic and the American Northeast. It was party time for the next two days. The rental homes of Woodland Magic and Shenandoah House rocked and roared deep into the predawn hours. True to the Bangali tradition food was a priority with biriyani, mutton curry, a host of vegetarian dishes, roshogolla, roshomalai, shonpapri, shingara and mukhorochok deshi snacks. The gala barbeque party was a lot of fun. We found time to have an excursion into the grandeur of the Luray Cavern. This gathering was made possible by the constant encouragement of Sumit, the untiring efforts of Pali in making the arrangements and enthusiastic participation from all others.
The pictures of the trip are presented in the form of four slide shows. These photos are contributed by all the participants. I have to post similar photos to capture the individuality of different photographers. If you are using low bandwidth modem connections, the first time you visit the site you may click on the four slide shows and come back after sometime to let the photos download.

The evening came to life with the youthful spirit of our days in Jadavpur. Crowd went wild with Uno. It was party time.
Saturday we went to see the grandeur of the Luray cavern in the rain soaked morning, after a hearty breakfast with porota, alur chhechki and roshogolla.
Barbeque party on the sprawling deck of Woodland magic was a lot of fun.
The adda in the gazebo, the vibes of the kids, gaaner ashor and soul searching brainstorms marked the finale.
His inspiration and efforts keep us together Her actions made it possible. His vision is to carry it forward. We propose to have the JU EE '91 alumni get-together every year around the first week of August at a location which will be convenient for travel from the Mid-Atlantc and the North-east.
