Heat from the molten magma chambers underneath, water from rain and snow, limestone reserves, and a rock fracture system through which hot water can reach the earth's surface, combine to make the Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces.

The Lower Terrace at Mammoth springs can be approached from either the parking lot on the main street below, or from a parking lot on the Upper Terrace loop drive.

I would like to acknowledge the National Park Service as the source of the maps presented in the web site. We are very thankful to the National Park service and its rangers for doing such a great job in  preserving the treasure chests of nature and helping us around in our quest to get familiar and enjoy these wonders.

Soumyendu Srakar (Shoumo) have organized these tours and maintains this site
Anjana is part of all these tours.
I inherited the addiction to explore from my dad Sasabindu Sarkar. He is our inspiration and is part of most of our tours.
My maa Dipali Sarkar is still strong enough to explore the wild beauty of nature.
