Coming from the Western Entrance of the Yellowstone National Park, we saw the first hot springs in the Norris geyser basin. What really stands out is the Porcelain basin. This open terrain has got colorful hot springs, rainbow colors, hissing steam, and pungent odors. I and Anjana walked thru the heart of the basin. Its geo-thermally very active. We were restricted to boardwalks.

I would like to acknowledge the National Park Service as the source of the maps presented in the web site. We are very thankful to the National Park service and its rangers for doing such a great job in  preserving the treasure chests of nature and helping us around in our quest to get familiar and enjoy these wonders.

I inherited the addiction to explore from my dad Sasabindu Sarkar. He is our inspiration and is part of most of our tours.
My maa Dipali Sarkar is still strong enough to explore the wild beauty of nature.
